USPA NEWS - Lucca, October 29, 2022: This year Lucca Comics & Games acquired from Denis Kitchen a Will Eisner self-portrait, in which he pictures himself together with one of his most famous creations, The Spirit. The self-portrait of Will Eisner will enter the Uffizi collection at the end of Lucca Comics & Games 2022. This special exhibition was announced in Lucca in the presence of the Uffizi Galleries Director, Eike Schmidt, who allowed me a question after the press conference.ATARI AT LUCCA COMICS & GAMES 2022 FOR ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY

USPA NEWS - The festival celebrated Atari's 50th anniversary with the presence of the guest of honor Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari and named by Newsweek as "one of the 50 men who changed America".The creator of the first large-scale coin-op (Computer Space), as well as the inventor of Pong, was celebrated through an exhibition in San Franceschetto, a former oratory in Piazza San Francesco. Inside the exhibition area some of the rarest Atari coin-ops and many other goodies.
